Bringing the voice on the radio to life.

Who I Am:

I am a new operator to the world of Amateur Radio. At a young age, my grandfather introduced me to shortwave radio and listening to broadcasts from around the world. After college, my roomate, a graduate student studying for his Doctorate in Electrical Engineering - specifically Radar, inspired me to get my license. I wanted to study for the tests and take all three at the same time, however, I kept putting it off. I finally decided to just go and take the technician and get each level as I learned it.

What I Do:

I currently work full-time for a phone company as a telecommunications engineer. Like most of you, I have many hobbies. I am a licensed EMT-B and I work special events as stand-by EMS for two EMS companies. I am also enlisted in the Texas State Guard for maritime Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) missions.
